Mark Ruhl

Mark Ruhl is a Traditional Usui Reiki Master as well as a Clinical Hypnotist. He received his Reiki Master training during a one year apprenticeship program with Loving Touch Center International in New York in 1995. Mark attended Brooklyn College from 1975 through 1980 with a major in psychology. This interest in human behavior led him to study hypnosis to explore greater possibilities of the human mind and its ability to heal. Realizing the power of the mind/body connection and seeing the mind as the foundation for healing on many levels, Mark completed his clinical certification in hypnosis in1998. In his private practice he works with clients on a wide range of concerns as well as using hypnosis in pre and post surgical techniques to lessen pain and improve recovery from surgery. Mark also teaches workshops in self-hypnosis for pain management and relaxation.

 

Jo'Ann Ruhl

Jo'Ann Ruhl is a gifted psychic and medium as well as an Evolutionary and Western Karmic Astrologer. In 1996 she completed her Reiki Master certification in Traditional Usui Reiki in New York. She has worked with Dr Gary Schwartz in pilot studies with survival of consciousness at the Laboratory for the Advancement in Consciousness and Health. She has also worked with Dr. Melinda Connor in energy medicine studies and Dr. Ann Baldwin at the University of Arizona.

She has participated in the Program of Integrative Medicine Energy Medicine Extravaganza providing Reiki as one of the modalities for the program for the past nine years. With her husband Mark she facilitates a monthly Reiki Circle at Unity of Tucson, presently in its eleventh year. She became a LPN in 1982 and her career spanned over 18 years and included acute and chronic hemodiaylsis, oncology and rehabilitation medicine.

She is currently writing a book on Reiki for nurses and patient care givers. She has been featured in articles in several newspapers including The Times of London, The Long Island Voice (Village Voice on LI), The Arizona Daily Star, The Tucson Citizen and The Tucson Weekly. Jo'Ann was the weekly featured astrologer on the 104.1 The Point morning show, and co-hosted Dancing on the Path with Bruce Silvey on KXCI.

In her private practice she provides guide sessions for clients since 1991 and has been teaching the Oracle Workshop since 2001 and Astrology classes since 1998.
